The cashier and administration position is responsible for accounting and administrative duties necessary to issue accurate, timely, and comprehensive financial statements. It also performs some administrative duties on the side to support other members of the team.
Cashier Responsibilities
Weekly and monthly processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Bank account and balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly financials and related analysis
Grant tracking and monitoring
Cash flow projections and monitoring
Earnings calculations
Administrative Responsibilities
Supporting team administration including onboarding for new hires, managing ticketing requests, reimbursement
Attendance tracking of the team members
Fixed Asset Management and Inventory
knowledge, Skills, and Experience Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting1-2 years of relevant accounting and industry experience preferredProficient with MS Office, including advanced Excel skillsFocus on work quality - accurate, thorough, and strong attention to detailsEffective in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, adapting to and managing change in a positive and proactive mannerStrong communication skillsDeadline and results-orientedExcellent organizational skills
